I do love a good MG horror, but they are a bit tricky to sell right now. I'd be willing to risk it for the right one, though. The perfect combination of sinister and spooky and kids figuring out how to save the day. What I'm hearing from editors is they have to stand out—in a good way. #kidlitchat

I found 'Read at Your Own Risk' by Remy Lai fun scary, although it's one of stories that might be scarier as an adult reader (or I'm just superstitious)

I dreamt last night that I was at a restaurant in a hotel (not a very fancy one). I saw on the menu that they had an Orangina slushie.
Then I saw it was $22 (+ tax)
But the waiter already wrote it down, and I didn’t want to cancel coz I was afraid everyone would think I was cheapskate 😓
