I started following this charming illustrator on the Hellsite™ at the beginning of the pandemic. I started following this charming illustrator on the Hellsite™ at the beginning of the pandemic. It's so funny that Mamdani is doing *exactly* what the abundance types are calling for -- competent government in service of constituents' quality of life -- but they can't embrace him because their billionaire donors hate Muslims.
It's pretty damn impressive how much ground Mayor Mamdani has been able to cover after only nine months in office on a wide range of basic quality-of-life issues in NYC.
I was reading through the numbers this morning, and they're kinda astonishing.

In a classic case of “some things are actually getting better” I’ve recently been receiving the ‘so and so has replied to your email with a thumbs up emoji’ and THANK FUCK for that feature. Whoever implemented that has saved so many awkward “great, thanks!” Useless emails. Fucking great stuff.

here's a very random question: why is it that Google Maps hides Brighton? attached are several screengrabs that show it displaying much smaller places but not Brighton, you have to zoom in soooo much to get it to appear, it's so weird?
