My husband and his friends realised they thought they were good guys but still made like, ironic-sexist jokes. They introduced the 'sexism snake' where wherever one of them made a sexist comment or joke, the others would just start hissing. Didn't need to get into an argument about it, just hissing.

boycotts are easy to understand! when the union says "please boycott this company until they give workers a fair shake," we just don't go there any more! we can stop by the picket line and donate lunches or money, too! solidarity is fuckin awesome! with enough of it we can change the world!

So theres also one other point ppl don't know- a solo Starbucks is one thing. A Starbucks inside, say, a Kroger or a Safeway (not Target, theyre terrible on labor), they have employees that work for KROGER/SAFEWAY, trained by Sbux, but unionized STORE employees. I was a barista at A Safeway, 1/
