This is a must have shirt for the scientifically nerdy.
My cousin’s shirt took me a second. He said “it’s great because anyone who would be offended by it couldn’t understand it anyway.”

I agree. We also have no business hosting any Olympics games with this current administration.
World Cup players are being denied entry to the US.

Some are being detained, searched and treated like criminals.

They have one thing in common…. They’re not white.

The US has no business hosting the World Cup when it’s hostile to those from other parts of the world.

Is the logic here
Pharmaceutical antidepressants are bad for teens
Sunlight > pharmaceutical antidepressants
Sunlight contains UV radiation
Tanning beds use UV radiation
Tanning beds > pharmaceutical antidepressants
Tanning beds are good for teens

I wonder what percent of Americans even think about the Pope when not being asked questions about him.

Also: And how could you determine that without asking people a question about the Pope?
30 percent of Americans are against [squints at notes] the Pope urging peace

Tell me someone always orders an alcoholic beverage in restaurants without telling me that they always order an alcoholic beverage in restaurants.
Blanche: "There's a lot of things we can be doing, like voter ID. Every time you walk into a restaurant you have to show ID. How about you have to show your idea to vote? That's not anything that's crazy."

State Department: You probably wouldn’t need a “formal dress code” for the diplomatic corps if you didn’t keep appointing people whose primary qualification for service is “donated lots of money to Trump” and stuck with, y’know, actual diplomats.

I just checked—it turns out that Art. II, Sec. 1 of the Constitution of the United States does *not* say "The executive Power shall be vested in a bunch of sociopaths who think they can do whatever the fuck they want and make shit up as they go along."

This.
For centuries, American Men have convinced each other - through culture & conditioning - that violence is power.

When in reality: violence is loss of control.

99% of people only commit violence when they lose control of their emotions.

Violence does NOT DISPLAY POWER - it only shows weakness.

Most of us do structure our moral code around this idea.
You could actually structure your moral code around the idea that law enforcement doesn't exist to execute people. You don't have to create perfect victim narratives, you can just refuse to accept that the state gets to kill people.

The horrific irony of yesterday’s tragedy in MN is the one person present who I’m pretty sure had both crisis intervention AND de-escalation training was the one who was murdered.

The fact that in the US nurses NEED crisis intervention and de-escalation training is a different issue…

Pick up the nearest book. Turn to page 42, post the second sentence.

"As certain areas of the country went through periods of prosperity, and with the development of an export market, beef as a food commodity grew in importance."
