Kind of obsessed with this spooky season scene my 12-year-old painted today.
Acrylic paint on a roughly 8x8-inch canvas. Yellow and brown grass background with a couple of pumpkins and white sheet-style ghosts floating over top.

I’m really confused about why YouTube does this. I’m watching a video and an advert comes up. Nothing weird so far. But then one of the two ads turns out to be a full episode of something. Like a full length video. The timeline doesn’t work so you can’t tell how long exactly. But probably 30mins.

"Lord of the Divine Writing"

A digital piece featuring Thoth, the Egyptian God of writing, wisdom, magic, the moon, and many other things. :>
I'm super excited and happy about how this turned out. I'm feeling more and more comfortable with my digital art style.

This month’s sticker design for Patreon!
Medieval style rendering of Godzilla in front of a cloud of smoke and fire, with text written in red gothic letters that says “Go ahead and destroy the data centers, Godzilla. Make the people happy.”

Cohost became an important repository for contemporary computer science educational material.
Cohost user Ash posts a "guide to anthropomorphizing computers", with the incorrect technique identified as "Sorry if our AI chatbot hallucinates things that never happened. We're going to teach it that lying is bad" while the proper green check mark method is "This is my protogen taur based on the Compaq Deskpro 386. It loves to say beep and needs repairs 3-4 times per week"

Linux users were known to use Cohost.
Cohost user "federated kyle" writes, "okay linux unfriendly this linux unfriendly that, i've never had an easier time getting my tablet to work with left handed mode than fedora workstation. that was immediate. i spent 2 hours trying to get that shit to work on windows and i just switch some shit on in fedora and we're done." the post is followed shortly thereafter by "this was a bold barefaced fucking lie i told btw she forgets my display settings on boot now and i can't fix it"

Cohost became a safe space for unpacking complex feelings around the high expectations our parents often place on our shoulders.
Cohost user Kortney writes, "when I was telling my mom about planning to go to MFF 2019, I showed her a couple of pictures of friends' sonas (and also mine mixed in!) just to be like "this is what these folks get up to, I have a bunch of friends in this group" and she was promptly like "so a bunch of these folks want to represent themselves as these wild creatures in crazy colors and someone you know just wants to be a plain old deer. well, I guess it takes all kinds. ...fursona shamed by my mom." Kourtney follows up with another post, "Mom, I have something to tell you ... I'm not a sparkledog."

Cohost gave a window into the mysterious lives of lesbians and their concerns.
A cohost user asks, "Dear Lesbians: If there was lesbian pride flag colored toothpaste what would you want it to taste like? People often say the Achillean flag looks like toothpaste but what if there was sapphic toothpaste what flavor would it be". Cohost user Onebug responds, "Had to go look up the lesbian pride flag and it took me embarrassingly long to remember that my phone is in greyscale so doesn't show colors" and It's Birthday Ham adds, "numberonebug looking at a pride flag on her grayscale phone" with a Hark! A Vagrant comic attached of Poe squinting at a sheet of paper.

Know what would be interesting to do? An animated series that captures that animation style and music style of transformers G1, but, while not a parody, is a kind spoof, but still serious (not without humour, but not focused on humour) with modern story beats and sensibilities.

A quote tweet from twitter: The original tweet: "YOU CAN CHANGE MII PRONOUNS???" and the mii is spelt with two i's instead of an e like the Nintendo avatars. And then the screenshot attached to the tweet is the mii making screen from Tomodatchi Life: Living the Dream which includes an option for changing pronouns. The quote-tweet: "Pirate discovering gender expression:"
