Mothers who’ve graduated from our Project Independence program come back to serve on our Youth Advisory Council every quarter to fill 125 outreach bags for youth experiencing homelessness. These backpacks are filled with feminine care items, socks, snacks, water, and more.

Adolescent drug use doesn’t have one cause. Some grow up around it, some use it to cope with trauma in unhealthy ways, and others, even despite strong protective factors still find escape in substances. If kids don’t yet know their values, how can they truly see their own worth?
