I think in the KiriBaku dynamic, Katsuki lets Kirishima get away with a lot more than the DekuBaku dynamic. He's quickly disarmed by Kirishima's innate charm and good looks. As opposed to the TodoBaku dynamic where There is no charm and too much good looks so it actually pisses him off.

I love the world of MHA and the amazing depth of characterization. But what I love most is the prevailing optimism. I love that Deku is freakishly earnest and kind. I love that he is static in this regard. He's seen so much and has every right to be jaded, but he still reaches a hand out <3.
