Last weekend to check out this awesome show "Identity" at Water Street Studios. Thanks to everyone who already came out and spent time with the work.
Congratulations to all the artists. I'm grateful to have been a part of it.

Swing through this Friday, June 12th and join me at Water Street Studios in Batavia IL for the opening of "Identity" Exhibition.
The theme behind the show is to think about identity itself and what it means to you?
Hope to see you there!✌️

Revisited some old paintings, like this one from 2017, while working on a new one. Sometimes ideas don't leave, they just grow along with you. New paintings and prints soon. #painting #oldart #acrylicpainting #figureart #art #figure #artwork #artist #artistic #landscape

My newest dnd character, Barley Becraft Crippin. He’s an aasimar rogue, snake oil salesman. It’s a western campaign. We’ve played one session and I’m having a ton of fun. I love my goofy guy.

It has never been more important in most of our lifetimes than now to make art that deeply offends and concerns fascists.

Artists, what was your biggest failure of 2025? Could be art related or from the business side of things. Mine was trying to create monthly newsletters and email campaigns using Mailchimp. I got as far as May 😂. Trying to figure out what went wrong. What's yours? #artfails #2025fail #artlife #artist

Art vs Artist 2025. All of these are sold except 2! Left a lot more art out, like the Second City Chicago Mural (never got a good picture of it), but man this year was filled with creativity and paint. Loved it. On to 2026.

Sometimes I wish social media didn't exist so artists didn't depend on it so much. I miss in person art communities.

Art heists may sound glamorous, but stealing priceless cultural artifacts doesn't always pay off like you'd expect. We talked with a veteran art thief, a lawyer, and an expert on heist economics.
