Former US President Barack Obama criticized the White House’s approach to Ukraine, saying: “While we are alienating key allies like Canada, the White House bends the knee to Vladimir Putin and is selling out Ukrainians fighting for their freedom and democracy.” He urged Americans to vote. #Ukraine

Bike thief banged up - good. They don't just cause loss to the owners, but damage the (generally good) work being done to encourage cycling.

Good also that use is at last being made of the street cameras - all that metal adorning every building has a value if they glance at the screens occasionally
A bike thief has been jailed for 34 months following a series of bike thefts across Oxford, including stealing the e-bike belonging to Oxford West and Abingdon MP Layla Moran. Andrew Hurtault was arrested after stealing a bicycle from University College.

Christopher Nevinson said of this work depicting Manhattan (1920) 'The painting directs us into the unknown, and there are no brakes... this painting forces us to confront it and not look away: welcome to your future at a thousand miles an hour, make of it what you will.'

Nowadays, the internet sometimes feels like a once well-to-do neighbourhood that became a slum after an industrial park & motorway were built through it. And I'm the lifelong resident who refuses to leave, unable to accept that the decaying, now unsafe area will never regain its former grandeur.
