My husband @demonboynextdoor.bsky.social placed second alternate again! Thank you Kansas City and National Monster Xtreme! 💕
Image of drag performer Vincent Vandal, reclining indulgently while displaying two awards. Both awards are in the shape of skulls. One features the text, “FIELD OF SCREAMS 2025, NATIONAL MONSTER XTREME, 2ND ALTERNATE,” and the other features the text, “FIELD OF SCREAMS 2025, NATIONAL MONSTER XTREME, CALLING OF MONSTERS.” Vincent is wearing a voluminous mauve wig, orange silk top, waist sashes, multicolored handmade vest, multicolored handmade breeches, and black boots, with dramatic monster makeup, fangs, and two-tone costume contact lenses in white and yellow.

Account attempt 3 just got flagged. I haven’t made anything public because attempt 2 got deactivated immediately, and I thought maybe if I didn’t add people right away on attempt 3 I would be safe. It was up for a few days but once I made it back to Champaign they now have to “confirm I’m a human”.

I have lost all access to my drag and design friends and followers on all my meta accounts, and I’m afraid I have to rebuild the last 15+ years of all my social connections and all my ability to get freelance work
