My hometown created an entire building to house artists downtown in order to bring more art into the city. Every apartment had artists, rent was under $400 for a 1,000 square foot downtown apartment. And it worked and continues to work. Murals started going up everywhere, events, etc.

I’m too tired to get into it, but this is the correct take. Entitlement from fans is always a bad thing. Always. “The customer is always right” should never apply to art. Celebrating the bad precedent of “marvel listens to fans” ain’t it.
Just caught up on this drama: It really doesn’t fucking matter of you like the John Romita Jr. Spidey cover or not.
Fans shouldn’t be allowed to bully their way through situations like this. Very simple. The entitlement is out of control. If you don’t like it, don’t buy it or get another cover.
