Happy July 1st. For the fifth straight year, Pennsylvania's budget is late. Not all late budgets are created equal, and it's weeks until there is an impact. Still, partisan tensions boiled over yesterday as Democrats blamed the GOP for the delay.

At a time when families are struggling to make ends meet, Trump, the Republican Party, and their billionaire backers are prioritizing their greed for money and power over the well-being of our communities. We need leadership that serves the needs of everyday folk, not partisan or personal agendas.
