Believing an all knowing super-intelligent being is going to arrive in a few years to save us all is a totally different thing to being in a cult… isn’t it?

Watch this to the end.

Appalling and… unsurprising.

For the first time in US history, America betrays South Korea, one of our closest allies for over 75 years. These exercises in various forms have taken place every year since 1974.

So my daughter just picked this lanyard at the dollar shop as she loves capybaras and I bought it thinking nothing of it then I saw this.

Can somebody please tell me what the fuck I’m looking at?

Am I the only one who thinks it’s weird that apparently AI is going to take all our jobs and yet productivity statistics have been anaemic since before ChatGPT launched in 2022 and haven’t statistically improved at all?

The question Britons must now ask themselves is not “will Burnham be a good PM”, (Starmer did a remarkable job given the circumstances he inherited) but “if Burnham is a good PM, how can we possibly keep him?”

The west is losing the ability to assess their leaders, unless they are liars and fools.

I love the fact that people won’t get vaccinated because “I don’t know what’s in that!” But they’ll buy unapproved peptides from illicit dealers and inject that shit into their face immediately

What a world

This is not a failure of the system. It is the system working exactly as intended."

This week, a reporter asked the president whether the deteriorating economic situation has created any urgency for him to reach a peace deal with Iran. “Not even a little bit, I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation. I don’t think about anybody.”
Trump’s Latest Gaffes Could Hurt the GOP
The president won’t face voters again, but Republican midterm candidates will have to deal with the consequences of his latest comments.

Just watched Should I Marry A Murderer and man… either the Scottish police involved were utter incompetents or the Scottish criminal justice system needs a complete overhaul.

They appear to need the case totally proved before they can place a suspect on remand.

Muirhead was treated appallingly

Australia has acted to close a loophole on a tax program that incentivises big tech to remunerate local media outlets whose content they reproduce.

Meta and Google are of course appealing to Trump to apply pressure.

Both can fuck all the way off.

We’ll decide taxation in our country. Thanks.

Weirdly, our music had nearly 100 plays over the last week (which, hilariously, is huge for us) so someone liked it and whoever you are you’re likely from here on Bluesky

So… thanks whoever you are!

Yeah but like… how the fuck is it still 37%?

And down from 39%???

How fucking bad does it need to get before you realise your whole society is dragging its balls over broken glass for an attention whore and psychopath?

I am in Barcelona today to help unite progressive parties from around the world in a defense of democracy and a war against corruption. A first of its kind event. Necessary to beat back the forces of fascism.

Right now, 25% of the world’s population lives in a country that either has passed legislation to restrict social media use of children, or has legislation in parliament.

Do Americas children deserve less protection?

I don’t hate my political enemies.

I don’t even hate MAGA.

They’re just people who’ve been told over and over that the system is rigged against them, and they’re angry.

I understand that.

We’re going to have to build political coalitions to create lasting change.

That’s starts with empathy.

Whether we like it or not, there are 2 effective political strategies:

unite and divide.

Both work, so the only way we can fight division is to reject it ourselves, and punish political leaders who seek to divide us.

Unlike the US, not everything the Australian government says is insults and lies.

If the US had formally requested assistance with this shambles of a war in Iran, Australia would have responded. We always do, even when we shouldn’t

Trump is just pissed that our government was critical of the war

2 days ago Zelensky did a video announcing that Ukrainian automated military vehicles recaptured a city without any human involvement.
