I have quite possibly spun one of the softest yarns I have ever touched! The braid was a @knitterkim.bsky.social merino/yak/silk blend in her Monster Mash colorway plied with a black mohair to bring out the spooky vibes. Now I just need to reskein it.

I've been using this nice fall weather to knock out scouring some fleeces. Finished a Shropshire fleece and a Valais Blacknose lamb fleece.

I am slowly making my way through my singles, trying to get bobbins free for my big sweater spin. Hopefully, I am going to have all prep work done for it by mid-June to have everything ready for spinning it during tour de fleece this year!

Pulling out my fleeces to take inventory and I realized I apparently really need to expand the white/gray fleece stock.

Also, look at that cormo x corriedale/cvm! Gorgeous! Her name is Nancy Artingstall from Dresow Family Farm.

Now that the fleece I scoured is dry, I was able to weigh it....8.667lbs of rambouillet cross! My plan was to try to get enough for a sweater, and I think I have that, plus some!
