Landslide win for Mikey Jones and Rachael Ward in Penryn yesterday!

74.6% of all votes cast, almost 3 times as many as for Reform and Labour combined!

Massively disappointed. A one in a decade opportunity missed for Penryn. We could have massively improved road safety and attractivity for shops. This anxiety to keep parking spaces (despite a pking study pointing that there's jo issue!) is dragging us backward. www.facebook.com/share/p/1CRK...

Keslowena / Congratulations to @cornwallgreens.bsky.social for this win in Gorton. Turns out having a progressive programme works and insulting your prospective voters doesn't. Who would've thought?

MK calls for a #Cornish Recovery Fund, to fund our services properly & deliver economic investment for all. It's unfair that Kernow is receiving no recovery grant funding at all, especially when we have too many deprived areas, which the recovery grant funding is meant to be for. #Kernow 1/2

And well done to Zack for challenging Phillips smear that 'from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free' is antisemitic

The Times may be part of the Murdoch press, but you'd think they have the sense not to publish a Mandelson puff piece at this moment in time

Nowodhow splann! The Penryn Town Council decided to look into a community-lead project to weed out and plant instead of spraying glyphosate across the whole town like in past years. This means we will not spray pesticides on residents doorstep and near schools. A big win to achieve a safer Penryn.

#Penryn #Glyphosate #Pesticides This Monday 2nd of February, the town council will vote again on whether we carry on spraying glyphosate (a controversial pesticide) on our streets to treat weeds. Read my take on this vote:

This is an absolute disaster for Cornwall. Westminster has effectively told us that Brexit promises from Labour Tory and Reform/UKIP were not worth the paper they were written on.

Success as Kernewek is awarded additional protection under the European charter of minority languages. Now we need the government to talk the talk and walk the walk. Without adequate funding this is but words on a piece of paper!

After three days without power and one without water, my thoughts are going to the families that are still in the cold. We've seen heartwarming displays of solidarity in #Penryn where people have shared homes, lent supplies and taken care of vulnerable neighbours.
