In this episode of #CloudNativeWisdom, a dedicated CloudNativeFM conversation series, we go beyond the usual K8s vs. AI debate and ask a much bigger question:

- Is K8s still the right abstraction for the AI era, or are we heading back toward an HPC-centric model of infra?

The cloud-native landscape is changing rapidly.

Organizations are no longer asking only, "Which cloud should we use?"

They're increasingly asking:

👉 Where should our data and workloads run?
👉 How much control do we have over our cloud infrastructure?

Interesting move from AWS: Dogwood brings runtime verification and temporal policies to AI agents.

Instead of asking only “Is this tool call allowed?”, policies can reason about what the agent has already done:

→ Did it get approval?
→ How many times has it acted?
→ How much has it spent?

ANTHROPIC IS PAYING HALF A MIL POUNDS 🤯

Might be that their LLM went rogue and made them completely unaware of the job posting… 😂

Or, in the worst-case scenario, they’ve already paid half a million to someone who just told an AI agent: “Go figure out Cilium, Kubernetes and networking for me.” 🤣🤖
