So, one of the side effects of the accusations against Neil Gaiman is that fans of Tori Amos (me) will never hear “Tear In Your Hand,” “Space Dog,” or “Carbon” live ever again. Amazing songs now tainted by his inability to take care of himself privately instead of assaulting women.

I’m still new to the desert, and I have a couple of observations as a Houstonian: 1) it’s really hard to find arugula here at a regular grocery store (not Whole Foods), 2) Asian ingredients? “The best I can do for you is sriracha.”

I got my first colonoscopy yesterday. It was so easy. The prep wasn’t nearly as bad as I had read and imagined. I was at the clinic for about 2.5 hours. They found two small polyps. Please get your screening. It is absolutely not a big deal to do, and it can save your life.
