Bezos humiliates himself. What is vast wealth good for if you have to keep licking boots every day?
BAIER: The president says 'SI.' Are you into SI or AI?

BEZOS: I do like SI, because 'artificial' is not a very flattering thing. Like, nobody wants an artificial sweetener, artificial flavoring.

I was in Arizona last week driving around, and I forgot just how many people will tailgate you for driving the speed limit. And the speed limit is always too high! 35mph in a residential neighborhood is too slow?
Here's an absolute manbaby crashing out in his car (and filming while driving) because a scooter is going the speed limit in front of him

deliberately misunderstanding people’s objections to the pervert glasses as an objection to the glasses part is so fucking funny man

In all seriousness, this explains Nextdoor.
Fun fact: 54% of US adults read below a 6th grade level.

You have to actively remember literally over half the US adult population is *unable to perceive subtext*

Apparently episode one was first broadcast on the BBC 50 years ago today.

Six minutes until the store opened up, and my saved phone wasn't even there.

But still made it under the wire for 9/18 delivery.

I don't care what your abstract thoughts are about abortion, what you think you're accomplishing or who you think you're saving.

If you're against it, on demand and as a choice between provider and patient, you wish me dead and you wish that my daughter was never born. Fuck you.

This is literally what bond traders did with Mortgages when they resecuritized the securitized loans.
A finance bro literally does not perceive it as a bad thing to do to feed an AI its own vomit, it just doesn't make any sense.

He *also* doesn't think it is bad to make up financial data, and this isn't a coincidence.

The nature of politics is talking to people and having relationships with them. If you don’t want to do that, find another career. If you don’t want to do that with the real-world humans you represent… well, you’ll have a lot of company at the Capitol I fear, but you fundamentally suck at your job.

While I kind of disagree with this, I never understood subtitled animation. I mean, it’s already dubbed.
I have an unpopular opinion that has never not felt justified. Subtitles for foreign language films are bad. If I wanted to read, I would read. I watch a movie to Observe the Image.

Purists claim dubs ruin the intended effect as if it's preferable to spend 2 hours looking at 10% of the screen.

As a native New Yorker, I refuse to believe in Eugenius Harvey Outerbridge. Clearly his wikipedia entry is fake.
Nominative determinism came up during breakfast, and I will never not think of the very best case, the guy who was absolutely going to wind up working for an agency whose mandate spanned waterways and whose job was to connect goods and services to people.
