I hate it when I can't be creative for a while, because I always feel like there's grit in the gears when I pick things back up again. I managed to update/expand on three pages of material this morning, and it was a good session, but I wish I could do more before starting to feel addled...

Alright, I've been sitting on this post for a minute now, but a few weeks ago there was a post going around in the TTRPG circles about whether people should or shouldn't consider carrying capacity during play, how to classify weight limits, etc. You know how these go, it's an evergreen topic. (1/?)

Elon, whose genAI is the world's largest distributor of CSAM, has essentially infinite money to throw at evading any kind of consequences for producing and distributing more CSAM than any human in history.
Elon Musk's xAI on Friday persuaded a US federal appeals court to halt Minnesota's first-in-the-nation ban on AI-generated fake nude images as the technology and social media company pursues a lawsuit alleging that the law is unconstitutional.

TIL that this recurring TNG minor character was played by a stealth trans woman
she’s in 43 episodes and several of the movies

FIRSTLY as the piece alludes: Loren Rex Cameron’s also-trans and arguably more famous older sister, Cameron, was a I believe fully stealth working model and actress (a la plot of Pose) in the 80s and 90s mostly … I rewatched like I dunno, dozens of TNG episodes, where she appeared as Ensign Kellogg:

Making my way through GoGoFive, and I'm at about the halfway point.
Kyoko was robbed. She should've gotten to be the sixth team member. It was set up that way, but no, the new mecha is an autonomous robot because the team's dad "believes in [his] kids." >:[

There're a couple of things left to take care of in Gongaga, but then it's on to Cosmo Canyon and Red's story! Are there more like him out there? Just how much of his life is because of Hojo's meddling?

Another day of appointments, but my part in the proceedings seems to be done for now. Time to test some more stuff, then get in a good exercise session.
Well. "Good." As good as exercise can be for a person who'd rather be burning calories in other ways...

A lot of people are making their own stuff for Into the Oddish. For those who want to make more types of Pokemon as player characters, I put together some guidelines for how I would design them. It is a lot less formulaic than designing Pokemon as enemies.

Oh, my Steam? Framed.
Seriously, though, after a couple of hours with this VR headset, I can see why someone who's looking for ultra modern power might complaint, but it's doing *exactly* what I want it to.
Wireless? Check.
Motion capture? Check.
Plays games? You better believe that's a check.

A new video from the USCSB has been posted! And for anyone surprised to see me post this, is it really surprising that person who designed "So That Others May Live" is eager to spread knowledge about workplace safety and hazards?

Worth noting that the Title IX rules that were rescinded didn't include protections for trans student athletes, because Biden withdrew that part on his way out of office.
That didn't stop McMahon from framing it that way though.

Long day today, even though it felt like not much got done. I can't wait to get back to making art again. I miss it so much. T_T However, I'm trying very hard not to pressure myself about time spent recovering from work or taking care of appointments. I'm glad my community care enough to allow that.

Checking in to say I am still here, just very sore from another work day. Taking today off from basically everything to recover. Tomorrow? Who knows. I'll see how I'm feeling when I wake up.
