I got a whole jar full of brass filigree. I am thinking of using them on this lamp shade project. I am currently spray painting the cage cream.

When I cleared the basement of the previous owner’s stuff, I found some really cool treasures. The purple lined box on the top left of the first photo is my grandmother’s knitting needles.

Today is #HobbitDay because Bilbo and Frodo Baggins were both born on September 22nd.
Normally we'd shire a hobbit pun or two but it might just feel like a tolkien gesture and we don't want to embarrass our elves.
