Belarus says no potash left after Trump claims massive deal for fertilizer
Belarus’s authoritarian leader Alexander Lukashenko said Monday that there are no available volumes of fertilizer to send to the U.S. This came after President Trump announced that he was working o…

Whew. I guess.
⚠️XOM RESTARTING: big price relief coming to the states hardest hit by the power outage at the ExxonMobil refinery in Joliet, IL last week. Gasoline seeing a large 23c/gal drop and diesel down even more significantly. Price relief coming to MI, IN, OH, IL, WI soon.

subscribe FREE to me on Substack. Today: The U.S. isn't short of diesel. The world is.

So would banning U.S. diesel exports actually lower prices?

It might sound like an easy fix. But once you look at refinery economics and how fuel actually moves, the answer gets complicated.

Trump is apparently talking about buying potash from Belarus. Belarus is sanctioned and they have no port of their own to ship through. In my career, I have used Belarussian potash. It is usually garbage quality. Very dusty, full of fines from the many times it has to be loaded and unloaded

I received both of these newspapers in yesterday’s mail. One of them is from July. For 20 years, no delivery issues. The last two years, horrendous.

this talk of “running out” of diesel is THE madness. the U.S. is sitting on 4.08 BILLION gallons of (<15ppm) distillates today, which is up from 4.05 billion a wk ago. just bc a few stations have issues does not mean a nationwide crisis is brewing. now sit down & relax plz.

I just met a Romanian who came to our farm to buy hay. Dad somehow got on the topic of Putin, and the dude flat out declared Ukraine was not a country.

I did not know that attitude was common in Romania.

I quit going to local barbershops because they all had Fox News blathering. The only talk radio on air for decades is massively conservative. If you want to know ‘how America could do this’ it’s because of right wing propaganda like this, constantly fed into our brains at all times
Chris Wright on Fox Business says "thank God we have President Trump with some common sense on energy" as a graphic is displayed showing diesel prices at record highs

*babbling noises*
we've reached a new milestone- the U.S. average diesel price has hit $6.301/gal while gasoline is up to $4.355/gal. I expect both of these to jump noticably over the next 48 hours. diesel could hit $6.60/gal in a few days, surpassing the inflation-adjusted peak seen in 2022.

the truly crazy making part of all of this is that voter fraud EFFECTIVELY DOES NOT EXIST. you have a better chance of finding an actual leprechaun at the end of the rainbow than of finding evidence of voter fraud that influences an election
Genuinely an insane paragraph from Sam Alito. “Voter fraud is real and scary and we have to stop it, so the fact that implementing Trump’s mail ballot rule will disenfranchise millions is legally irrelevant.” Brain melted. A right-wing podcaster in a robe. www.supremecourt.gov/opinions/25p...

This is gold. The Bulwark did a montage of every time Trump has said he was abut to give Americans a check for a variety of reasons.

All of the promises were complete BS, of course.
