🚨 IOWA SENATE SHOCKER: Josh Turek is within striking distance of flipping a seat Democrats haven’t won since 2008.

Trump carried Iowa by 13 points in 2024. But anger over the economy & the Iran war has transformed the race.

A Turek win would help Dems take back the Senate. Let’s finish this. #Vote

I'm screaming about the CA bomb suggestion, all day, but not that this administration intentionally gutted the FDA inspectors so they could take bribes to serve contaminated food to Americans?

Well, there's that, too.

Alaska state senator on their meeting with South Korea and the gas line.

Lisa Murkowski, Dan Sullivan, JD Vance, and Donald Trump are perpetrating fraud on the Alaskan people and lying to them about South Korea investing in the gas line to get Dan Sullivan reelected!

I can hardly wait for Robert Kennedy Jr to be tossed out of government on his ear.👹😡😜🤯😱🙀🤮
The CDC just re-opened a previously shelved study that would withhold the hepatitis B vaccine from children in Guinea-Bissau, despite decades of evidence showing it is safe and effective.

This is a violation of human rights, using “science” to harm some of the most vulnerable people in the world.

Fascinating review of the early years of World War II. Thanks for posting. It reveals some dreadful truths about humankind and our innate need to compete and dominate. It also highlights frightening similarities between Trump’s mindset and Hitler’s, though Trump is far more ignorant.

When Trump calls for Iran to nuke Los Angeles and San Diego, and his crowd of MAGA faithful cheer in response, we witness the completion of a process of psychological transformation associated with totalitarianism. Urging physical harm to fellow citizens has become a test of fidelity to the Leader.
The most shocking part of Trump’s comments is what our reaction says about us
Listening to the president at a rally these days is a mix of deja vu and word salad, but his decade-long project of division remains abnormal and dangerous

A salutary reminder that unless you have an integrated approach to things like data centres which takes true account of the opportunity costs we are utterly fsck'd.
The accounting is in: In Oregon there are 111 data centers. The TOTAL number of people employed at data centers is just 2,630, or 0.1% of the labor force.

Those 100 data centers consumer 23% of all electricity used in Oregon.

Meanwhile, electricity rates skyrocket as more centers are built.
Oregon data centers by the numbers: 111 facilities consume nearly one-quarter of state’s power, according to new report
A first-of-its-kind report details the footprint of the controversial facilities.
