This episode was kind of a miss for me tbh like this is basically a normal mundane murder case except sometimes people see him shapeshift or turn into a demon. But not in a way that affects the plot at all. Also I'm getting sick of Scully getting captured every other episode please let her kill

The thing about the x files is that even when the plot is a little bit too batshit for me to really get into it, there's always at least one moment per episode that makes me go "wow, this lighting is really good"
