Hi, my name is Andrew and I’m a ginger-haired disabled writer and alternative film poster designer from the UK.

In the top right corner, is a blue-black triangular portion of the night sky, with pinkish planets, and a moon made from negative space, which shows the off-white paper underneath. Amtrak didn’t tell us about this exposure, so heads up: if you took an Amtrak train last week through Chicago or anywhere on the Southwest Chief, Coast Starlight, or California Zephyr routes like we did, you may have been exposed to measles!

Re This case:
Most media are focusing on their own states, but this was a multi-state trip. The person took the whole route of the Southwest Chief, so Illinois through the midwest, then across S. Colorado, New Mexico, and Arizona before LA. Then up the coast, and back across on California Zephyr.

If you get stuck trying to finish writing your book, a great strategy that helps me is rereading the entire book. It will help you reconnect with your characters and remind you of why the story worked in the first place, so that you can gain momentum again.

Don't give up, just go back.

A crayon artist sits with their legs crossed in a chair next to a wall they have covered in dinosaur illustrations. They are wearing overalls and a bandana. They exude the confidence of an artist who has seen their vision to completion. However, like many creators, their vision is not shared by everyone. They are confronted by a man in a sweater vest, “Heard you been drawin dinosaurs on my walls.” The artist replies, “You heard right.” Artist’s note: I try to do my drawings quickly so they maintain that spontaneous feel I’m going for (something we’ve discussed in previous posts). For this one I ended up redrawing the artist’s pose and subtle facial expression over and over again until it felt right.

'You'll choke too' - an aerial embroidery landscape inspired by all the wildfires happening right now... I'm upset every time I smell smoke outside and somehow we have people starting them maliciously too! But we all breathe the same air so they'll choke too (1/2 - see thread for close-ups)

For this #Caturday I thought to give a little update on my kitty, Fluffy, who was injured in early April when a neighbor’s dog chased her.
