The simple act of discussing her & her work in public forums is really impossible without her / her generation’s work. She & many others made it possible for us to leave what they endured to oblivion and live
Gloria Steinem died with fewer rights than she had during her lifetime. That fact needs to be front and centre of every media report, every dedication, every discussion of her death.

I always hear these people the same way I did when they spoke more directly about “getting above yourself”

We were affected by this one and I reached out to them for a refund (I buy a lot of tofu) and it was ultimately not even worth it with all the hoops they were making consumers jump thru. So l just paid for their mistake & am still mad about it

A buffet of things to be mad at here but the one that really irks me: Bouie was patiently, generously and very professionally explaining not only his position but real (painful) historical facts. And she just.. acted like a petulant brat.
