He/Him, French Canadian gamer making a fool out of himself.
To be 3D Modeling Artist. To be Game Programmer. To be streamer? At this point I'm just looking for a way to justify living.
Another email, another job rejection.

What we learned, or rather what CEOs must learn, is that we can't have head of game studios and publishers be paid 300 times more than the average people who actually makes the fucking things.

Yes, profit must be made, but infinite growth is not it.

It's ominous, but necessary.
"So maybe rather than talking about when games will get 'back to the way it was', we should be letting go of that, because frankly, it's gone. We should ideally be thinking about what we've learned from the last six years and what we want our industry to really look like next."

Well, that's ominous

The Joy-Con Violin patent application that I shared last year has been filed in the US too. It uses the mouse mode to simulate a violin bow. Since it’s now in English, check it out if interested.

This clip from the id software dev interview has a pretty good analogy about why certain game publishers are failing and other are succeeding.

Volvagia in the OoT Remake might have a second phase. At some point it loses the mask and horns, the fire on its head gets bigger, and a scar appears on its forehead...

It gets a new attack, too.

OoT Remake will support VRR, excellent.

I'm looking at potential nominees for GOTY at The Game Awards and I gotta say... where the AAA at? Cause assuming OoT Remake and GTAVI do well, the other possible candidates to far are:

- Mewgenics
- Fire Emblem
- Mina the Hollowers
- Forza Horizon 6
- Big Walk???
- Meccha Chameleon???
- RE9

Is Insomniac's Wolverine out today? I'm really curious to hear player impressions after the less than stellar reviews.

The amount of stupid in this thread is honestly impressive.

- Just because a game LOOKS like an "Unreal Engine" game doesn't mean it's MADE on the Unreal Engine. ENGINES DOWN'T OWN ART STYLES.

- I'll take 1080p/60fps over 4K/30fps any day.

DF has done irreparable damage to gaming discourse.
Digital Foundry: Zelda Ocarina of Time is 1080p and 60fps, but no DLSS

Alright, this week while I'm waiting to hear back from a studio I just applied to during the weekend, I'll dust off the Blender and start working on a low-poly 3D model I can use to stream. We'll see where it goes from there.

The model is actually great, what the hell

The first door of the Forest Temple, the one guarded by two Wolfos, is locked by key now. That wasn't the case in the N64/3DS version. So now you are forced to get the key on top of the tree after climbing the vines first.

What is wrong with you, announcing a game that's over 3 years away from release?

Metroidvania fans are eating good between October and January.

Literally getting games from the series that originated the term.

So I went through the menus of the Ocarina of Time Remake to try and figure out where all the items go and there's a few odd things

- There is an extra bottle
- There's is at least one new item, two if Child/Adult Trade items share the same spot

The last Metroid is NOT in captivity.

The galaxy is NOT at peace.

Why why why why do people keep doing this on YouTube? Why do they pass the thumbnail of their video through an AI filter, when the actual art is easily available?

WHY

The water fountain in Hyrule Castle Town in OoT Remake looks incredibly similar to the one in Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom.
September 11, 2026 at 12:29 AM
I figured out the purpose of the new bombable wall in the Water Temple.

It's to prevent the player from going in that hallway on the second floor before lowering the water level first.

It's a way to streamline the Water Temple further.

But also, there appears to be a new room.
