Across the Universe, unseen forces beyond our comprehension are working to improve our lives.

They don’t always get it right, but they are trying.

#jonesysjukebox brings you The Beatles and Across the Universe.
Beautiful.
I can never resist a perfectly symmetrical composition. Here’s a train framed neatly beneath the tower at Chiswick Park London Underground station.

Might start to post on here again, like in the good old days of last year.

Saw Joe Jackson and his band at the Bristol Beacon a few nights ago.

What a career that man has had. Phenomenal talent, and still produces a great live performance.

Here’s a road sign which says Victoria Park.

10.25pm and I’m eating pizza while listening to an All Saints compilation CD in my kitchen.

Winning at life. As always.

BRISTOLIANS! Has anybody been to this exhibition at St Mary Redcliffe Church and is it any good?

Oh, the sheer glamour of living in Weston Super Mare.

I hope Andy Burnham does a brilliant job as Prime Minister.

Really don’t understand why anybody would want him to fail?

Hello again you fuckers. I forgot me log in details but now I’m back.

Here’s Weston Super Mare’s pier looking a bit nice all lit up on a Summer evening.

Saw Stewart Lee, the world’s greatest living stand up, in Weston Super Mare (WESTON SUPER MARE!) a few nights ago. He is SO good.

He definitely gets better and better as he gets older. Had a quick chat and asked for a photo as I am a pathetic fan boy.

Enjoyable gig tonight. Tom A Smith supported by Hunny Buzz at the Thekla in Bristol.

Very odd sensation when you realise that the musicians on the stage are young enough to be your grandchildren.

Hello again. Have you missed me?

(I know the answer to this question is no, by the way).

I have had this attitude for my entire working life. Explains why I never really made much of myself.
I won an award at work. Instead of it motivating me I have started doing less. Obviously I worked too hard and I'm now trying to find the right level between working and not getting fired.

Spending the night with the parents and feeling a bit fed up so I’m reading some Philip Larkin to *really* make myself feel depressed!

Happy 50th birthday to Rough Trade. This wall in their Ladbroke Grove shop should be a listed monument

Been discussing this particular song, and why it means so much to me, all evening.

#jonesysjukebox gives you Doves and Caught by the River.

Beautiful song.
