The Milo stuff is the perfect picture of fascism. You think you're protected because you go as big as you can on racism, you spend years harassing the movement's perceived enemies, you even disavow your own sexuality. They'll still throw you in a cage over the tiniest disagreement already forgotten.

Easily in my top 10 of birds that can be seen locally.
Here are the two cuties in the center of the party below. They’re similar to a killdeer but smaller.

I will never forget my grandpa making me sit in the garage with him to watch a storm. I was probably 5-7 years old and I didn’t get it until about 10 minutes of sitting in near silence and then it clicked. Forever changed.
yall mind if i sit in the garage, drink a beer, and watch the thunderstorm

1. BREAKING via Fox News

A new Fox News poll of the Senate and Gubernatorial race paints a startling picture for Republicans.

James Talarico leads Ken Paxton 51% to 48% in the U.S. Senate race, even though the poll’s electorate identifies as Republican by a 50% to 40% margin.

The first obnoxious thing about the pictured take is that no, it’s not always easy to line up child care, even for an hour, especially for a baby/toddler. The second, and a question I have for everyone who wants to ban kids from public life: how do you expect them to learn how to behave in public?
I’m sorry but the only person who should be denied access to the grocery store is this person.

I enjoyed The Odyssey (2026) but I have one historical nitpick. The phrase “Jiminy Christmas” is a minced oath for “Jesus Christ”. As the story is set around 1200 B.C. it is unlikely that Odysseus would have said the phrase even once, let alone the dozens of times he says it in the film

This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days.

ICE is killing our neighbors. ICE cannot be reformed. Abolish ICE.

Mainstream media coining today's birthright citizenhip case as "a blow to President Trump."

You fuckers. This is not a blow to President Trump. They *never* thought they would win this case and did this to satisfy an unhinged base. Stop normalizing the dissents and making the Court seem moderate.

I think Brad Lander made a smart distinction between unity and solidarity, and offered a good marching order for Democrats all across the spectrum, in his victory speech last night: "Unity means we already agree. Solidarity means we do the work to build bridges even across significant differences."

Man this was one of the first things I thought of because I remember seeing lots of ducklings last year when I was there.
When the Reflecting Pool was replenished after a $14 million-plus renovation, ducks quickly took to the water. But then dead ducks were found nearby.

The carcasses found in Constitution Gardens will undergo necropsies to determine cause of death.

I don’t think any bad outcomes that court reform could lead to would be worse than what we have now
BREAKING: In an unsigned, per curiam opinion on the shadow docket, the SCOTUS conservatives allow Alabama to use a congressional map held repeatedly by a lower court to have been enacted with discriminatory intent.
