I feel like it's a flex that my friends trust me (and their spouses ) to be alone together. I don't drive, and when my friend had her baby when I would visit she would have her husband bring me home.

You just gotta be okay with increased unavailability and a smidge of flakiness when dating a person with kids. Stuff comes up & of course kids take priority. As a child free woman, the issue I'm running across dating ppl with kids is the communication part.

It is not a good day. My Aunt called me this morning to tell me she was postponing (rightfully) the cookout bc she felt nauseous and dizzy. Half hour later my cousin called me told me he was taking her to the ER bc her BP spiked. Now I just got off the phone w/ my mom & she tells me my uncle died.
