There’s this theory that light takes all possible paths and due to resonance cancellations, we only observe the path that is repeated most often, allowing it to stack enough to not be cancelled out. In essence, we only experience the one reality that is the most probable. 1/?

@alice.averlong.com is this your doing?
The Macintosh Two-Page Colour Classic was quite a handful. MacWorld Magazine described it as "Perfect for small business and people with two eyes, it's the most two-page two-screen colour classic we've seen. With its unique built-in double-degauss floppy disk eraser, it's also the most secure".

The original StarFox game, and now the remake, has all the characters with prosthetic boots.

I can’t get the thought out of my head that due to different foot types of the species, and the need to make ships and vehicles universal, it was necessary to modify the species to fit the ship designs.

Timed Parrying should not be a core game component.

If I can’t play the game without memorizing the insane timings of blocks for multiple weapons/enemies, then your game gets the uninstall.
What’s your gaming hot take?

I’ll go first:

I think Bethesda hasn’t been good for the gaming industry because they’ve led to this push towards open world non linear experiences as well as normalizing shipping out games that are full of bugs.

Not everything needs to be open world!

Rhythm isn’t real word. There has to be a rule against too many consonants and sometimes Y.

The essay brought back so many memories of pushing old hardware to breaking and learning so much after the smoke settled.
This is the best product review I’ve read: samhenri.gold/blog/2026031...

It doesn’t matter if you’re interested in the MacBook Neo or not; this is the kind of essay that makes you think about the potential of technology and the joys of exploration.

My nephew, when asked if he wanted to try something new, said “I call dibs on no.”

That phrase is perfect and mine now and no one can take it from me.

Got another #3dprint project to solve a problem with the dishwasher.

The utensils tray had gotten beat up and the bottoms are starting to break open. This causes the utensils to fall through the large hole and jam up the wash blades.

Being a wizard is a lot of work! Can you imagine thinking about your day and what could possibly occur to memorize a single spell for each of your 4 slots in a best guess hope that you will need to cast a hedge wall to keep that shithead in a cybertruck from cutting you off in the drive through?

As a child, not having the words to understand what you are going through is horrible. Looking around and not seeing anyone like you makes you feel a deep loneliness that is impossible to describe. Once you have the knowledge that you are not alone, when you have the words, it changes everything.
Some thoughts on some things I've been dealing with lately. 1/6
