Een noodopvanglocatie in Leeuwarden is ‘vreselijk’, vertellen bewoners. Toch wonen er 172 minderjarige asielzoekers. De opvang was tijdelijk bedoeld, maar zal uiteindelijk zes jaar open blijven.

it literally could not be easier to run against an opponent who is fixated on a microscopic minority that isn’t actually harming anyone! focusing on imaginary threats posed by trans people instead of the world burning down around us is bad politics! point that out! loudly!

On September 17 2011 a gold necklace salvaged from the wrecksite and likely belonging to survivor Eleanor Widener, was stolen from an exhibition in Copenhagen; the case had not been broken into and the alarm had not activated. The necklace was valued at about $18,750. It has not been recovered.
