Discovering hip-hop in the 80's, I never imagined that I would one day get to meet @chuckdpe.bsky.social of Public Enemy. That was in 2013. Thirteen years later, I subscribe to his magazine, Rap Central Station, and he sends a hand-drawn sketch of me.
Thanks, Chuck! I love it!

This relaxes me. Don't get me wrong, I wish all cards had Heritage or Ginter stock, but for those that don't, this is the life of an autograph collector.

I changed my clocks last night. My bedroom alarm clock is in my living room, and my grandfather clock is now on my nightstand.

"Jesus Take the Yoke" just didn't have a good ring to it, I guess.
Grammy award-winning country songwriter Brett James, whose string of top hits includes “Jesus Take the Wheel” by Carrie Underwood and “When The Sun Goes Down” by Kenny Chesney, died in a plane crash, authorities said. He was 57.

I'm not a fan of military parades. It's not because I'm unpatriotic. I just think it could set a precedent for futture Macy's Thanksgiving Day parades.

Four months ago, I pulled my first-ever redemption card. it arrived today.
128 days to wait for an Ichiro/Shohei Ohtani autograph was worth it, I suppose.

In 2023, my girlfriend, @randomactsofbrooke.com, gifted me a custom-made calendar of things we saw during the year. I never peeked ahead, so every month I saw the picture for the 1st time.
Today, I discovered it was Fez's 1st microphone, which we saw at FezCon.
