I saw a french sociologist and researcher comment by saying: “These children aren’t a danger to the republic. They are dangerous to the current government, but not the republic”

I agree and would even say that those kids ARE the republic
Keep in mind regarding the current French student protests that you are dealing with protests of kids who WANT to be educated, who WANT to learn but are held back from doing so

The same pundits who criticise the youth for “rejecting education” applaud absolutely brutal police crackdowns on KIDS

While the histrionics around the sanctity of Astarion's character and whatnot are really not warranted, I'm sorry the book really is ass you guys need to stop coping. You're going to look me in the eye and tell me you found the tone appropriate and the ending coherent with his story in the game? Lol

They haven't shut the fuck up about Hasan Piker saying "America brought 9/11 on itself" for months only for Trump to say something ten times worse live on national television
“.. The role of a president is to protect the country, not to actively threaten it and encourage attacks on American lives,” she said in a social media statement.

Filippo Lippi's wonderfully strange double portrait, 1440. He's not looking at her but into the empty space behind her. Her sleeve spells Faithful - but to whom? Great enigmas on Lippi's day.

Idk if you guys realize James Somerton was wiped off the internet for way less. Genuinely. I'm not even saying he should come back i was waiting on his downfall but there was more ~rehabilitative justice~ for a RAPIST than a plagiarist lmfao
yeah idk what breadtube was but it seems like it fucking sucked

it's kinda wild to be like "this guy moves people to the left and educated them into being a better person" while you are presently relativizing how bad rape is on his behalf

I wish people understood that TV writers:

1. *Have* actually thought more about this than even the most die hard fan.

2. Are beholden to time, money, and owner constraints that fans will never be aware of.

3. Are extremely likely to already be aware of any critiques because (see 1) but (see 2)
Hey, just so people know: it's not cool to reach out to writers who worked on something you watched to tell them things like "the next few episodes could use some refinement", or "I had a few issues with it", even if you're couching it in something positive.
