Everytime i do any creative design or writing, I tend to write music to accompany it. Just helps me get into the right mindset. Didn't really do that writing the screenplay draft I just did, but man did the urge hit me after.

I just finished the first draft of my first original screenplay! Buddy detective film by way of cosmic horror. Deeply Latine. Fun and horrific, hopefully.
Still a ways until its done, but man, it feels good to get this draft down! Hoping that it gets it filmed down the line!

Three different short films I've made music for are in 3 different festivals in the coming weeks. I don't know if this has hit me quite yet.
One is in the Flatland Film Fest, another is on the Amarillo International Film Festival, and the last in the Hub City Horror Festival.

The "Main Titles" from the new RE movie just released and... i think its a remix of the infamous trumpet song from the directors cut of the old RE1?
Its not perfect 1:1, but its there, I think. Such a deep cut, makes me want to see the movie even more!

I feel like the press around the new Resident Evil movie, and by press i mean the loud online contigent of "fans", would have been better had they added the Outbreak subtitle. Its essentially an adaptation of those games, which is probably the best way to do it.

Man, it seems like all the things I've been working on the last few months are all releasing at the sane time! As such, here's a short film I scored! It's about not wanting to fall asleep for fear of what tomorrow might bring, except a little more literal! I really went NIN on it!

Another cool thing I'm doing. Finished our last pre tech week rehearsal for a play I'm directing! Its a 15 minute mini play, amd its great! Wonderful actors and story. I've had a pretty darn good week for creativity!

A while back, I guested on an actual play podcast where I played someone we can all relate, that one kid that wears too many layers to the beach! Oh, and he had the powers of the trickster, ol' Coyote!
Submitted a demo cut for the final episode of an audio drama I've been working on for the last few months, and it... fells bittersweet? Like, I'm ready to be done with the job, but I'm kind of sad that its almost over. Funny how that works.

My biggest critique of Spider-Man Brand New Day is that Peter is a cop. He's a flock camera using cop. I dig everything else about it, except for that detail.

Ganondorf. Specifically Oot and Wind Waker Ganon. He's a leader of a bunch of brown people were forced into the desert because of bigotry. His people thought of as nothing but savage thieves. Dying to exposure. The triforce driving him mad in the end. I get why he did it, though.
Name a villain who was actually right.

Just heard a preview from a project I composed for a few months back, it *dolphin noisee*! Really cool to hear it in context; sometimes it's hard to imagine how a finished thing will come together, but man is it nice when it does!

Yesterday I took part in acting auditions as a casting director! What a weird and wonderful experience.
While I'm first love is video games and music, opening up myself to new experiences has been really fun. Hell, it's kept the burnout away a bit longer, too!
