A work in progress, but worth a look even now before we add all the extra information we have.
While we might have seemed to be quiet, we've been working on some things in the background. First of those is our image library, which we have now uploaded to Flickr. Feel free to have a browse.

Thanks to everyone for all the recommendations. I was surprised at how few I managed to find in charity shops, I thought her novels would be more numerous. Found nothing at all until today when I managed to pick these up.

Bookmarked just in case I need to bomb a nazi radar station.

In all seriousness, another fascinating slice of history
Ever wondered how you destroy a Nazi radar station?

This week on the podcast, @theaviation.show and I talk about the fighter bomber force that punched a hole in German radar for D-Day.

On the back of listening to this excellent episode, I've decided I should probably read some Agatha Christie. Anyone got any recommendations of where I should start?
Poirot is a Belgian refugee. Hastings a wounded WW1 veteran.

Agatha Christie was a nursing assistant and dispenser in both world wars.

This week on Untitled History Pod i talk with Tina Hodgkinson about how war service helped define Agatha Christie's work.

You would think a mouse that charges with usb-c and had the back/forward buttons on the right so it suited a left handed person wouldn't be so difficult to find. But no...tons of ergonomic nonsense, but a regular, ordinary looking mouse? Nope.

Sat in a cafe. Woman nearby ordered soup. When it arrived she poured an entire glass of cold water into it. The she asked them to heat it up as it was too cold. Once they had done so she sat it to the side as it was now too hot.

An infestation of bath Corgis seems a serious issue. Unfortunately the leaflet ends on a cliffhanger about what to do about them

The plague of Bath Corgis.

I just found a useful public information booklet. Presumably made by the government in the 10 year olds room.

Someone nice purchases at the charity shop today.

Today's charity shop purchase was this rather lovely volume. Published in 1952 and featuring many illustrations of locations around Scotland. Worth paying a little more than I usually would have for a charity shop book.
