The House of Representatives will act soon on a version of the UAP Disclosure Act, legislation first proposed in 2023 by Senators Schumer & Rounds. Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) will offer it as an amendment to the defense policy bill (H.R. 8800). Text at link:

On July 22, 2026, the House adopted the Burlison UAP/UFO amendment to H.R. 8800 (NDAA) as part of a large en bloc amendment package, without any floor debate or a separate vote. This ensures it will be an item in upcoming House-Senate negotiations that will craft a final version of NDAA by December.
