Democratic candidates for federal office should commit to the following pledge: "We believe markets are the best arbiter of malinvestment: accordingly, we pledge never to provide public funds to distressed AI companies. Backstopping private investment returns is not a 'national security' issue."

@adobe.com
You have ruined what was once a masterpiece of commercial software. Your crap product is now a bloated POS that consumes all available memory, freezes, crashes, makes endless effort to convince me to use its "AI" features....

TOTAL EFFING GARBAGE.

Go back or go broke.

Trump signs the Surrender of Versailles while oily clouds blot the sun in Putin's Moscow.
Two adventurists in search of swift victories set out without plans.
What they found instead was humiliation.
Impetuous strongmen-clowns.
Unfortunately, we are all passengers in the clown-cars they drive.

Episode in the Oval Office just now accelerates isolation of the US from Europe, and accelerates coalescence of independent European security. Europe need to plan continued military support of Ukraine without the US. NATO is dead.

This is the greatest American foreign policy betrayal of the post-WWII era, because it is without any basis in any principle for which we have otherwise sincerely - or even, cynically - expressed fidelity. I am sickened.

The next step will be alignment with China.

Together, to carve up the world.
Breaking news: U.S. sides with Russia to vote against a U.N. resolution condemning Moscow for the Ukraine war.

Washington’s dramatic shift on the conflict marks a major break with its European allies and coincides with the Trump administration’s bid to repair relations with the Kremlin.

NO KINGS
NO KINGS is extremely effective because it’s simple, an extremely widely held belief, and gets right to the core of Trump’s assault without having to use words lots of people don’t understand

I am a radical Federalist.
A dead armadillo, legs upright in the middle of the road.
I watch winner-take-all elections every 4 years: one tribe wins; one tribe loses.
As greater resources are afforded to DC, the stakes escalate.
Trump is the symptom, not the solution.
Change the game.

I abandoned my unapologetic newsfast when I learned Trump was giving a press conference.

A thread.

My 4-day-late New Year's resolution is to try to post something positive everyday from this account.
Casual cynicism flows too easily.
So instead, just one small thing.
I'll sometime get busy and not have time.
Be traveling.
I'll sometimes forget.
But Life isn't just good.
It's simply great.
