My latest → In 2027, Germany is planning with €11.61 billion in military assistance for Ukraine. Whilst aid is officially set to remain at the same level as in 2026, a closer look reveals that military aid is set to increase by more than €740 million.

The German city of Hannover has donated two pallets worth of medical equipment, suture material and other essential supplies to a hospital in its Ukrainian solidarity partnership city Mykolaiv. Another pallet has been handed over to Mykolaiv’s education department.

The German city of Hannover has donated two pallets worth of medical equipment, suture material and other essential supplies to a hospital in its Ukrainian solidarity partnership city Mykolaiv. Another pallet has been handed over to Mykolaiv’s education department.
Germany has funded the refurbishment of a 6,000 m³ clean water reservoir in Sumy through the state-owned development bank KfW with work carried out by IOM Ukraine. The refurbishment helps to ensure access to clean water for 32,000+ residents, 5 health-care facilities & 10 educational institutions.

The German government has funded the handover of 11 Skoda Karoq vehicles to support the operational activities of Ukraine's National Police's cyber crime units. The vehicles were handed over today by Germany's new Ambassador to Ukraine Boris Ruge.

Russia claimed to have destroyed a vehicle belonging to an IRIS-T SLM fire unit in the Odesa region. Judging by the published footage & after speaking to a source of mine, I have no reason to believe that there is any truth to the Russian claims & I uploaded this here just for transparency reasons.

The German government has published new data on its bilateral assistance for Ukraine and its citizens, and I have therefore updated my infographic. Between the 31st of March 2026 and the 30th of June 2026, Germany spent another ~€2.38 billion on Ukraine assistance.

1/2 — The 2nd Unmanned Systems Battalion of the 59th Assault Brigade stated in a just published video with @united24media.com that they currently have an ~80% hit rate with the HX-2 loitering munitions of which Germany has financed several thousand as part of its military assistance.

The National Guard of Ukraine has released a set of images of a Zuzana 2 self-propelled artillery system in service with their 5th Brigade, who first deployed the Slovakian howitzer in early 2026 with current fighting taking place in the southern Slobozhanskyi sector.
