My latest idea for a film is a mash-up musical comedy between The Devil Wears Prada and The Passion of the Christ. It takes place in an Italian fashion house, and follows an American intern, played by Lily Collins, who is the Promised One.Title: The Fashion of the Christ.

The problem with Star Trek: Star Fleet Academy is that they tried desperately to make another Star Trek series, when what they should have made was another Community, starring The Doctor and Elastigirl.

@seananmcguire.bsky.social Hi Seanan, I’m a fan from the UK. I was wondering if there is any chance we may get Toby’s ebooks here in Blighty? The last one available is volume 10. Thanks!

I do mess up on my job on occasion, but never-have-I-ever accidentally published the OBR report before the chancellor’s statement.

Season of Skulls by @cstross.bsky.social is a delight. Can’t believe that such a dark book had me laughing like a drain on the 5:06 from New Street. Twice. Total Quality management consultant indeed.

Really enjoying @timmaughan.bsky.social’s Infinite Detail. It reads as if Islands in the Net crashed into The Long Tomorrow, but with its own colour and sound. 2020s cyberpunk done right.

Watched The Twits. This film’s only saving grace is knowing that if Roald Dahl was alive and watching this he’d be utterly horrified his name was involved in this. A beautiful thought.

It's fascinating to me that there's a whole "AI skeptic" misinformation ecosystem out there that somehow continues to deny that Waymo exists. Like, this is easy to fact check! Waymo runs publicly-available service in 5 cities, you can just go look up how it works and see it's not planned routes!

Did you or a family member once reside in Innsmouth?

Did you test positive for fish/cephalopod DNA?

You may be eligible to join a class action lawsuit.

Email: [email protected] and attach results of the DNA test.

Remembering that time I saw someone in the local supermarket wearing the “Running on tea, sarcasm and inappropriate behaviour” t-shirt from @www.joditaylorbooks.com’s wonderful Chronicles of St. Mary’s. Had a right kick from seeing another fan in the wild.
