Half marathon training. 7 miles ran today after over a week not running due to injury. I may have been slow but I did it and after feeling like I couldn’t possibly run this thing in a few weeks time it’s massive boost to my confidence.

Nice to direct BBC London News for a change and it contained a chat with the young contestant on mastermind who’s chosen specialist subject was TfL Moquette! A chance to flex my photoshop skills and some nice lighting and camera angles

An absolutely wonderful event on Saturday near Moreton in Marsh! Running 2km on the hour every hour for 12 hours. And I did it. So that’s 24km, varying from 13:32 to 17:24 for each lap.
Brilliant organisation and lovely set up. Thanks to everyone who made it happen & make it a great atmosphere.

Half marathon training week 2 day 3. 5 miles (8km) and it was absolutely sweltering. I have no idea how I’ll do 13 miles.

Back in November my parkrun time was around the 40 minute mark.
I cannot believe what I managed to achieve today.
Thank you to everyone who supported my Prostate Cancer running challenge earlier this year and to Team BG for getting me back into shape.
Onwards! #loveparkrun

“Brexit betrayal” - oh for god’s sake..

Every day, we’re paying to be poorer. We’re paying to be second class citizens on our own continent. We’re paying to queue. We’re paying for more red tape. We’re paying to be less secure and less trusted.

Brexit IS the betrayal. And so is defending it.

This month I have been running 2 - 3 times a week to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK. The aim was to run a marathon over the course of the month. I have almost run two. Finishing it off today at my own parkrun was lovely (and my best age grade since 2019 apparently!)

This month I have been running for Prostate Cancer UK. The aim was to run a marathon over the course of the month - which today I achieved! How far can I go? Can you help me raise a bit more? Every £1 will help. Thank you runthemonthme.prostatecanceruk.org/fundraising/...

Went for a Christmas Day walk in central London yesterday afternoon about 4pm. Simply couldn’t believe the amount of traffic and people in the centre. Why were they all there? How did they get into town - all public transport shut, so presumably they walked or were tourists and were there anyway.
