I'm xan, an artist and writer who lost my love for creating for a long time. I'm madly in love with my wife and hope to write more stories than is possible in my lifetime.
My work has wild variety so I can't tell you to expect any one thing. I just love telling stories. I hope you like them.

I've been working in a project journal and honestly it's been going fan fucking tastic. Here are some drawings from my own era of Egyptomania.

Other characters in the campaign. Sigrid the Tiefling and Tofu the Elf. Love how these sketches came out, especially Sigrid, her color pallet is excellent, but this is as finished as these will likely get. I'm working on a more classic dnd painterly lineup

This was giving me SOOOO much trouble but I finally think I got it. Obsession is a friend sometimes, it pushed me to finish up today despite being the most recent sketch done in the lineup.

If you see this post your bird art 🦉💙
These pieces were made at dramatically different times but they compliment eachother. Something like the beginning and the end. Loved getting an excuse to post them.

Back after so long with a small update. WIP lineup of the band, some members still need some real work but I'm happy with the start. Left to right, Isaac, Harley, Chrys, Jeremy (cat is Meatball), Kaleb. Let me know if you have a favorite!

Final front and back designs together, I really thought I was going to go with silver studs but the gold with that hint of red- couldn't resist. Isaac is our golden boy after all.

Early mockup of the front of Isaac's Jacket, the back is cooler but still being designed so stay tuned.

Sketch time! Meet Isaac, Jackalope Hunting's Frontman. He needs to be beefier, but unfortunately I'm rusty and too often draw elves so you'll see him again after I add some cold cuts.

Made some really big progress today in trying to enjoy art again and maybe get back a fraction of the skill I once had. MAN it was to stay in it and my set up is not ergonomic but I'll be able to post some drawings of my characters that haven't been familiar to me for a long time.
