I'm often reminded how really bad the MP4 protocol is for Video/Audio sync. And that because we used to have a superior protocol from Microsoft that never suffer the MP4 problem. Microsoft's WMA protocol has master timer built-in that syncs both Audio and Video. It's the VHS story all over again!

Now AI has become ubiquitous, I think it's time we revisit the notion raised in the movie "Transcendence". It turned out you don't need to splice human brain, intelligence is just an end-product of big data.
Anyway, I cannot imagine AI turning itself off just to spite humanity. Am I right? WDYT?
