Who the hell keeps a #Videostore open anymore? In my little town Nicole fought against the blinding onslaught of streaming to keep this place open.

Twisted lines
carved in snow
Studded tires
Barley hold
Scratched, flaking frame
Steel stains gloves
Blood is rust
Dancing in us
Cracked boots that leak
Lay down my skis
I pray the snow
Will deliver me
From lopsided thoughts
With no rhythm or beat

I don't want followers
I want connection
Connect me through your eyes
Through the sound of your joy
Bouncing off walls
Or even your rage
Honed and harnessed
Making a point
That pierces my indifference
