Students made their first minicomics in my intro making course - mostly standard format but this student, a first time maker(!), did something so off the charts I’m still reeling from it! & he made like 12 of them for his classmates! A paper engineering feat of flipbookery as well as killer drawing!

Just played on MeTV. One of the early proto-Bugs shorts, HARE-UM SCARE-UM from 1939. Directed by Ben Hardaway & Cal Dalton. After this short, both were demoted back to animators by hated boss Leon Schlesinger. Some gratitude!
The personality and voice are all wrong. Bugs is more like Daffy here.

This feels like a very unnecessary box set. The STORY of the 101ers and the pre-punk era in London is really interesting. Their MUSIC? Not so much. You hear it & it's no mystery why Joe quit them w/o warning & joined up with MIck & Paul. The Strummer 001 box has the few 101ers songs anyone needs.
