I don't think it would amount to much, but it would be very funny to get a couple Congresspeople who keep introducing resolutions that Congress cannot have workplace standards lower than the US average.
After today the U.S. House of Representatives is off until after the midterm elections. That's a month and a half paid vacation.

Your take over-corrected too much from the take you are commenting on, which over-corrected too far the other way on responding to the initial take, which was just bit off when commenting on the fourth biggest headline from yesterday.

Once we were upset with some inaction from management at the brewery so to register our discontent we set the warehouse-wide system to play Jimmy Buffett's 'Cheeseburger in Paradise' on a continuous loop for a couple hours, then locked the computer. Management had to reset the wifi to stop it.
I wrote about who gets to pick the music at work, from Muzak and wartime songs that made workers think about their lovers overseas to Balkan heavy metal and the fight over earbuds at Amazon.

I think the ultimate reason why I can't get too worked up over AI fears is that no one can give an example of Bad Thing that AI might do which the rich and powerful aren't already trying to do. Oh the computer might launch a nuke? Well a demented pedophile already threatened that earlier this year.
