Day 5 of whale swimming: today we swam with multiple pods, even one with 7 whales!! What a way to end the week! We've been so incredibly lucky.

Day 4 of whale swimming: lots of fin slapping throughout the day! So cool to be able to see what's going on both above and under water!

Day 3 of whale swimming, I didn't think it could get even better! Not only did we find a mother and calf again but there were 2 more whales with them! It was unbelievable!

Day 2 of whale swimming: we saw a mother and her calf!! We were so close, it was absolutely amazing! 😍

At the end of the day, we got a much closer encounter with a couple of whales but the other group got an even better experience so I'm really excited for the next few days!

Day 1 of whale swimming: I learned that I'm not immune to seasickness 🤢🛥️ It was quite miserable but it's ok cause I saw whales!! 😍
The ones we saw mostly stayed at the bottom so it wasn't always easy to spot them but we got a singer and I could feel the vibrations through my body, it was so cool!!

I'm in Tonga to go whale swimming starting tomorrow 🐋, we just had breakfast with the group who went this week and hearing them tell us their experience made me even more excited, I can't wait!

Didn't make it to the summit yesterday but still got to see a gorgeous sunrise 🌄
We started really well, making great time but 3h into it, the steepness got my legs tired earlier than I expected and I knew I didn't have enough energy to do 5-6h more hours to the summit + all the way back down 😞
