Not sure I can get too excited about a McNulty victory, will say though that Matteo Jorgenson has been an outstanding teammate in this race

Proud to have played my own small part for the latest four!
The 9th edition of this book is nearly ready for the printers.

This was me with Chris, holding only our second edition.

I am so proud of what we have achieved. Even though my earnings from the publication, before tax, equal £0. After tax, the same.

Incidentally, a stage this chaotic also makes a really strong argument for gps tracking of all riders from a fan/racing perspective as well as a safety argument. Instead of relying on race radio trying to spot and relay every bib number up the road!

Lots of talk (rightfully) about Sepp Kuss suddenly knocking on the door of the podium but Guillaume Martin-Guyonnet is (I think) still ahead of him both on the stage and GC!

88km to go and every GC man isolated? What a sport

Guillaume Martin-Guyonnet nation! Are we ready for the top-10 GC battle to kick into life thanks to your favourite philosophising cyclist? He’s already gained several minutes in the break!

Something pretty apt about the only footage I have of Julian Alaphilippe is him launching a vain, awe-inspiring attack that didn’t quite succeed… the hoarse excited voice was mine!

Really good piece by @ryanmallon.bsky.social . Can’t stress enough there’s no evidence of doping within any UAE squad, but the association of both the men’s and women’s teams with individuals like Napolitano doesn’t help anyone (the team, fans’ trust or the athletes who are questioned on this)
