It's Fossil Friday! Suspended from the ceiling in the Museum’s Hall of Vertebrate Origins is Thalassomedon haringtoni, a plesiosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous ~85 mil yrs ago. Its long, flexible neck probably helped in grasping rapidly moving prey.
