I think Starmer introduced a cap on foreign donations in Mar. It didn’t go through then but was made retrospective to the day it was announced to avoid a sudden rush of donations. I thought it also included a ban on cryptocurrency donations. Here’s the link www.gov.uk/government/n...

Farage has never appeared particularly enthusiastic about the day-to-day responsibilities of being an MP. Since entering Parliament he has maintained no constituency office, recorded one of the Commons' poorest voting records, and has barely mentioned Clacton in the Commons.
Farage mentioned Clacton twice in a year in the Commons, a world apart from Jeremy Corbyn, who made constituents central to PMQs
For a politician who has built his career claiming to speak for people ignored by the political establishment, it’s a pathetically shoddy record.

I think the Count Binface vote has a low mean but very high skew. There's a small but not negligible probability that the fight captures the imagination, like the Boaty McBoatface thing, and its virality produces a high vote share, maybe even enough to win. Not very likely but not impossible.
