Today is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, and while it is to commemorate and acknowledge the damage done by the residential school system it's also to drive the point home every year that indigenous people are still mistreated and ignored in too many conversations. The work is never done.

Don't forget:
- you are loved and deserve to be loved
- completing even the smallest task is worthy of celebration
- perfection is impossible, just focus on just doing the best you can
- trans rights are ALWAYS human rights
- to do what you need, but also make sure to find time to do what you love
